Making treasure out of the broken pieces
Yesterday’s trash. Today’s treasure.
Handmade jewellery made from pieces of sea tumbled glass collected from Scottish shores.
My willing helpers and I search far and wide for these broken pieces; meandering down long tracks on remote islands, combing through sand and dirt in long standing harbours, and crouching until our knees are numb at our favourite lochs.
Every piece is lovingly handpicked from our beaches and comes with a map stating where it was found
The glass is brought back to my Glasgow studio where I turn it into a unique piece of jewellery
All silver products are fully Sterling Silver. Where possible I use environmentally friendly recycled Sterling Silver

Sought out, not forsaken
“You see the scars. I see light shining through the cracks.
You feel discarded. I know the one who has been long searched for.
You search for value. I will treasure you above the pearls.”
“[These searched for pieces] speak of fragility and strength, and confidently proclaim that there is hope to be found even in the most broken of places“
“You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
You shall no more be termed Forsaken,
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,
But you shall be called My Delight Is in Her”
